Grave Light was founded in 2019 as an atmospheric depressive black metal duo. Its lyrical theme revolves around stories told by the spirits of those who died sorrowful deaths and have been long forgotten by the living.

I’ve owned the Imperfect disc for a bit now, but had slept on the rest of the material, with the exception of Disquiet, until now. Much different than my normal dissonant, occult sound fare, but everything Unrequited creates is bursting at the seams with power and emotion. Respect and support.

La traversée du désert n'aura pas duré quarante jours mais quatre longues années... Avec Панихида, Батюшка renaît enfin de ses cendres et, bien que désormais seul (ou plus exactement entouré de deux chanteurs), Христофор accomplit un miracle. Il s'inscrit dans la continuité de Литоургиiа avec un black metal orthodoxe qui nous convie ici à une cérémonie dédiée aux morts. Sa vision est englobante : les mélodies, la gravité et le silence font toucher le paradis ; l'agressivité est luciférienne.

A treacherous offering. Brilliant melodies in riffs, 90s style vocals, and solid composition. Songwriting ability shows more here than in Where Silence Whispers. By far my favorite in the Greek scene. May be my favorite of all 2022 releases.
